Antoaneta Hillman is represented
by Cinq Gallery-Dallas and her art is appreciated by local and international
art lovers and collectors.

There was a moment when I felt stagnation and disconnection between me and my work. I came to feel that my paintings where ready to leave the canvass and become more sculptural, so I literally started lifting wax from the board into free form sculpture. A natural evolvement from painting to sculpture occurred. Sometimes planned, but often spontaneous, my work is almost meditative. I have been drawn to the free, abstract encaustic form in which communication, or absence of communication, is the subject. Allowing ideas to be transformed with only one limitation, color, makes possible the achievement of poetic and story telling images.
